BOB HAWES

Chief Executive Officer

Bob joined Business Hunter as CEO in January 2017. He is responsible for driving the organisational strategy and program of thought leadership, policy development and advocacy. He also oversees the delivery of events, networking and member development programs. 

Prior to joining Business Hunter, Bob led the Hunter Development Corporation (HDC) for over five years. This coincided with a period of significant change in the region and a refocusing of State Government priorities and investment to facilitate the revitalisation of the Newcastle CBD. Bob also led Lake Macquarie's economic development organisation, Dantia.

Amy De Lore 

Policy and Public Affairs Manager

Amy De Lore is a communications professional with a diverse background encompassing journalism, public relations, marketing, corporate communications and political advisory roles. She has experience across local and state government and has worked for some of the region's leading organisations. 

Amy works with the CEO, Board, members and the Business NSW Policy and Advocacy team to develop and implement Business Hunter's policy agenda. She also manages media liaison, represents the business community on numerous regional committees and forums and engages closely with government and regional stakeholders on business issues.

JELINDA MILLGATE 

Business Development Manager
Hunter Firsts and Sponsorship

Jelinda Millgate manages Hunter First memberships and co-ordinates exclusive networking events for Hunter First members.

Jelinda also manages sponsorship opportunities for Business Hunter, linking members to unique and effective sponsorship programs to suit their individual business objectives. 

Jelinda has an extensive background in both business development and the chamber network, having worked as an advisor with The Business Centre and served as a committee member of the Singleton Business Chamber. 

SUE ELVERS 

Office Administrator

Sue Elvers is the first point of contact with Business Hunter.  She provides support to the Business Hunter team in administration, office management, marketing, sales, events and customer service activities.

Sue is also responsible for accounts payable, receivable and debtor management. 

Sue has been with the Business Hunter since 2012 and is a font of information on memberships and organisational processes, with a depth of experience in member services and office management. 

JACK ANTCLIFF

Events and Marketing Coordinator

As Events and Marketing Coordinator, Jack is responsible for the delivery of Business Hunter's detailed events program, along with social media and marketing.

Prior to joining Business Hunter, Jack worked as a digital journalist for Nine Entertainment Co. and was a representative for the Hunter region on the inaugural NSW Regional Youth Taskforce.
