BOB HAWES
Chief Executive Officer
Bob joined Business Hunter as CEO in January 2017. He is responsible for driving the organisational strategy and program of thought leadership, policy development and advocacy. He also oversees the delivery of events, networking and member development programs.
Prior to joining Business Hunter, Bob led the Hunter Development Corporation (HDC) for over five years. This coincided with a period of significant change in the region and a refocusing of State Government priorities and investment to facilitate the revitalisation of the Newcastle CBD. Bob also led Lake Macquarie's economic development organisation, Dantia.
KEAGAN HAIGHT
Regional Coordinator
Keagan has been with Business Hunter as the Regional Coordinator since November, 2022. She supports the team and its work with the local industry in activities across administration, events, communication and advocacy.
She has permanently moved to this beautiful region from the United States. There, Keagan worked in the finance sector for large multinational wealth management companies focusing on communication and relationship management. Holding a double degree from San Diego State University, Keagan is looking forward to establishing herself here in the Hunter on a personal and professional level.
